This issue is dedicated to the analysis of some aspects of the education system of the People's Republic of China. This is a fundamental theme for understanding the present, but also the future of China and the world as a whole.
The education system of the People's Republic of China with its 250 million students and 15 million teachers is the largest in the world. It is also well known that Chinese students are imposing themselves among the best in international rankings related to acquired skills, first and foremost in scientific and mathematical disciplines, without thinking that China is the largest student basin for international mobility, particularly at the level of of university education.
The other fundamental area in which the volume is concentrated is that of managerial training and the development of specific professional skills through advanced training courses provided by business schools and private academies. The ranking of the main business schools and of the faculties of world economics and management now includes some important Chinese companies in whose classrooms a future ruling class is formed characterized by increasingly international profiles.
